Lee Hazlewood.

Last great concert you saw?

The Wavelength 500th show. Saw The Barcelona Pavilion, Hidden Cameras, Owen Pallett, and Thomas all in the same night.

What is your favourite piece of musical equipment?

Slide Whistle.

What is your most memorable musical experience?

The first time I heard Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

What do you love most about music?

It is the easiest way to create a sense of community between groups of people.

What would you say to someone who is interested in studying music?

Learning to create music is like learning to walk. How do you explain to someone why it is important to walk?

What do you like to do when you are not playing music?

Play music in my head, or ride my bicycle while playing music in my head.

What is your favourite film of all time?

The Secret of NIMH.

What part of the world would you like to travel to most?

Something in me is obsessed with going to Chile, but if I can’t go there, then Wasaga Beach.
