If you had to only listen to 2 albums for the rest of your life, what albums would you choose?

The first CD I ever owned was Mariah Carey’s Daydream, so that album will always have a special place in my heart.
For the second album, I would pick the last one that I was impressed with – David Byrne and St. Vincent’s Love This Giant

What artist would you most want to collaborate with?

I think Stevie Wonder would be a blast to work with and learn from.

Last great concert you saw?

I won tickets to see Rihanna at the Danforth Music Hall – it was pretty high energy, I must say.

What is your favourite piece of musical equipment?

Imagination.

What is your most memorable musical experience?

Oh my goodness, my whole life has been a memorable music experience! Studying at York University for music has changed my life for sure.

What do you love most about music?

The unbelievable ability of music to express parts of the human soul that cannot be expressed in any other way.

What would you say to someone who is interested in studying music?

You are in for the time of your life! Let’s talk!

What do you like to do when you are not playing music?

Dance, explore, read, socialize.

What is your favourite film of all time?

I think the film What the Bleep Do We Know? had the biggest impact on my life, so I pick that.
