Man, you’re killing me on the first question. Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain by Pavement and Appetite For Destruction by Guns n’ Roses. Despite the urban decay vibe on the later, I feel like it would sound really great rustling through the palms on a desert isle.
Little Girls at the Beaver. They were cramped in the corner, amps stacked upon each other just to save space. Everyone in the audience caught a breeze with each cymbal hit.
My fuzz pedal. It cuts through everything and even gets CBC radio 3 if you hold it up just so.
Playing with Francois Houle at the Vancouver Jazz fest. The entire band played as if possessed by demons and the sushi afterward was tasty as hell.
I love saying what you can’t say/don’t know how to say/cant get away with, using words.
Its never too early or too late, just bloody go for it. Have fun.
Sleep, eat. Read. Write.
Again, this is killing me but I will have to go with Dogtown and Z-Boys. It’s not fair to ask for just one.
