Project Description

Howard Goldbach Music Website →

If you had to only listen to 2 albums for the rest of your life, what albums would you choose?

Tortoise – TNT, and Jimi Hendrix- Axis: Bold As Love.

What artist would you most want to collaborate with?

Jimi Hendrix.

Last great concert you saw?

Sunset Rubdown in Brooklyn NYC.

What is your favourite piece of musical equipment?

My Moogerfooger Ring Modulator. I’m constantly amazed at what this pedal can do to synth sounds, and how musical the results are.

What is your most memorable musical experience?

Playing NXNE a few years ago…I remember this being a very difficult show, where anything that could go wrong did. At the end of the show I was very upset until I discovered that everyone actually really enjoyed the music and the performance. The owner of the club actually booked us for another event right after.

What do you love most about music?

The fact that improving myself as a musician seems to improve me as a human being as well.

What would you say to someone who is interested in studying music?

Everyone, even the most talented and ‘successful’ musician always, at every moment, has the infinite in front of them.

What do you like to do when you are not playing music?

Be around people who are playing and studying music, chill with my wife and cat watching Lost.

What is your favourite film of all time?

2001: A Space Odyssey.

What part of the world would you like to travel to most?

Guatemala.
