Wow! That’s a really hard question. I suppose if I could only choose 2 albums for the rest of my life I would choose The Bob Marley Songs of Freedom Box set. To date it’s the only thing I can listen to at anytime, no matter what mood I’m in. Now I know there are four CD’s in the set, but… let’s just call it even.
Hmmm… Most of the Artists that I would most like to collaborate with are now only with us in spirit. I would say George Harrison or Sun Ra, depending on the day.
Antibalas at Lee’s Palace. Fantastic band!

Beaches Jazz Fest, Summer of 2011 playing with King Sunshine Band.
We were playing outside and it was pouring rain. To make a long story short, my amp blew just before we started and the only option for me was to plug straight into one of the Pa speakers (via an effects unit which had a preamp). Anyways, my sound was terrible. I hated it. I actually didn’t feel like playing at all, just wanted to get it over with. Turns out, due to the pouring rain, all the other bands had packed up for the night and we went on playing. It actually ended up being the most fun I have ever had playing live. Everyone was having such a great time dancing in the summer rain. It was electric. I learned a valuable lesson that day.
Its ability to inspire and uplift.
When I am not playing music I like to spend time meditating. I have had a meditation practice for years, which I love.
This is also a really hard Question. I like watching Nature Documentaries, like the Planet Earth series or Life. Baraka comes to mind as a movie, which had a big impact on me.
